When efo sent me the free camera, what went through my head was the thought "How is this plastic camera different from the other ones I've played with?"
Unusually, this one had a flash shoe--so that made me want to play around with experimental flash setups. But it also had--gasp!--a tripod socket, which was lined up exactly under the shutter button. So I had the brainwave to put the camera on some kind of mount with a string to fire the shutter...
Here's the result: A plastic camera on the end of a 12-foot aluminum pole. With the +2 closeup lens taped in place, I can take weird aerial macros...
When Chippets saw this she asked, "does this make it a Pole-a-ride camera?" Heh.
