I saw this article and upon realizing I had all the parts to do it, I just had to try it. I then got the idea to stuff all the parts into an old Commodore 1541 floppy disk drive housing, and this is the result. I bought a non-functioning but cosmetically mint 1541 off of Ebay and went to work. It was a fairly easy conversion, but it took a little work with the Dremel to make it happen.
