I'm fascinated by old mechanical objects. This little edger (used for putting a lip on the edge of a piece of metal), despite a few "rough" modifications, has probably been doing the same job for nearly 100 years.
They don't build them like they used to!
This was made by a company called Oliver Machinery Co Ltd. of which the Oliver Machinery Co US parent company still appears to still be trading.. albeit all the parts are probably now made in China and "assembled" in the US (I'm such a cynic!)
